Building a Non-union Voiceover Business

Learn what you need to do to start and grow your non-union VO business. Ruth Kaufman started hers after taking Acting Studio Chicago’s VO classes.
She has voiced dozens of projects and continues to build her list of
returning clients. Jaimese Lewis of Talent Group Inc. (www.talentgroupchicago.com) will join Ruth from 4-5PM to provide an agent’s perspective, critique a few demos and answer questions.


ABOUT RUTH: Ruth left corporate America sales, marketing and training to pursue acting, writing and freelance editing full time. She has voiced dozens of Web site narrations, tutorials, commercials and other projects for a wide range of clients.  An attorney with a Master’s in TV/Radio, Ruth has performed at venues from the Lyric Opera of Chicago to ComedySportz. A host of the Chicago Bar Association’s cable TV program, You and the Law, she has had on camera roles in numerous industrials and several independent films.  Visit www.ruthtalks.com to learn more.
