10 Week On Camera Technique

Sundays Feb. 5th-Apr 29th
* (no class no class on Feb 19, Apr. 1&8)

Last Sunday will be 11a-1p for ALL GROUPS

 

Grades 3-5

Grades 6-9

Grades 9-12

 

 

Kids- Grades 3-5

10:30a-12:30p w/ Katie Griggs

This class will use improv and theater games to teach young actors to use their imagination. These improvisational skills are essential to strong commercial auditions. While developing their creativity we will introduce students to the basics of commercial audition skills: the interview, MOS, and a variety of copy. Students will learn audition etiquette by participating in mock auditions. Class culminates with an Agent Q & A for parents on April 29th at 11am. $395

Kids - Grades 6-8

1:00p-3:30p w/Brooke Shoemaker of Gray Talent

This class teaches both commercial and film audition skills. Students learn how to improvise and follow scenarios for MOS. One liners, single person copy and two person copy will be introduced. Students also learn how to make the essential adjustments between acting for the stage and acting for the camera while working on film and television scripts. Students will practice audition etiquette by participating in mock auditions. Class culminates with an Agent Q&A for students and their parents on April 29th at 11am. $395

 

Teens - Grades 9-12

10:30am-1:00p w/ Doug McDade

This class is desighned to teach the technical requirements needed for work in front of the camera. Working with all aspects of commercial audition scenarios and copy, as well as with film & television sides, students will learn script analysis, work on camera, view playback and reveive feedback every week. Learning to fully use oneself, find stillness and specificity, while making dynamic choices is the goal.

Class culmninates with an Agent Q&A for students and their parents on April 29th at 11am. $395
